Importance of Evaluating Internet Sites

While there is a wealth and ease of accessing information on the Internet, it is important to make sure students are using credible sources. In an art classroom, I think an excercise in evaluating Internet sites would be useful before a research assignment.
So, if I were going to ask my students to research an artist or movement, I would first take them through an exercise similar to what we have just completed, so that they have the tools for evaluation, and know what I expect as far as using credible sources.
